Chairman of the board of directors, Hans Zehetmaier, accepted the Bavarian award for mid-sized companies for the fourth time.
Munich, July 30, 2014. At a celebratory event held yesterday evening, State Minister of Economic Affairs, Ilse Aigner, presented chairman of the board of directors and co-founder of msg systems ag, Hans Zehetmaier, with the coveted award of "BAYERNS BEST 50". In addition to a certificate commending msg on its entrepreneurial performance, Hans Zehetmaier also accepted a porcelain figurine of Bavaria's lion. As every year, this year's award ceremony was once again held in the Emperor's Hall of Munich's Residence Museum.
The award from the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology recognizes extraordinary performance by Bavarian companies, who were not only able to show above average employee and revenue growth over the past years, but who also show a sense of responsibility and vision. Since 2002, the award has been presented every year to the 50 mid-sized Bavarian companies showing the strongest growth.
msg's expansion figures speak for themselves: Whereas revenue in 2008 was around 309 million Euro, they reached 583 million Euro in 2013. The company group's "Agenda 2020" aims to almost double the group's revenue within just seven years, reaching the billion Euro mark by 2020.
"We are very proud and are pleased to have the honor of bearing the title of 'BAYERNS BEST 50' for the fourth time," remarks Hans Zehetmaier. "The award confirms our strategy of providing holistic support to our customers, with innovative, strategic consulting and intelligent, sustainable IT solutions that create added value."
