To be able to optimally support companies and institutions in mastering the digital transformation, procilon GmbH, based in Taucha near Leipzig, the consulting and IT company msg, based in Ismaning and Swisscom Trust Services AG from Zurich have reached an agreement on collaboration. The aim of this partnership is to enable users to benefit from the combined expertise of the three specialists.
End-to-end solutions for electronic legally-compliant processes
The collaboration makes it possible to create digital end-to-end solutions tailored to the respective need in order to also implement processes electronically in a legally compliant manner. This is particularly helpful for companies and organizations that want to digitalize their processes as much as possible or completely without media discontinuity. Here it is important to protect the integrity of valuable data specifically. Cryptographic procedures and organizational measures help here. For example, it must be ensured that only authorized data access is possible to prevent unauthorized manipulation. Another key element – the electronic signature, provided by Swisscom Trust Services – can be used to prove the integrity and origin of documents. In this way, the authenticity of digital documents and contracts can be guaranteed. For processes, these elements are the basis for error-free results, which, in case of doubt, will also stand up in court.
The three partners combine their competences
The procilon group contributes a comprehensive technology package related to electronic signatures to the partnership. This ranges from software components for the generation and verification of signatures to secure long-term storage in accordance with BSI TR-ESOR and eIDAS. A wide range of encryption solutions are also part of the partnership. Swisscom Trust Services, a subsidiary of Switzerland's largest telecommunication company, is a specialist for digital identity and electronic signatures. msg integrates the components from procilon and the services of Swisscom Trust Services in coherent end-to-end solutions for customers in all regulated industries. The company also advises on the value assessment and sensitivity of data and the compliance of business processes with relevant regulatory and security-related requirements and standards. msg has extensive expertise in digital identities and trust services as well as differentiated industry expertise.
