Entry for students

Gain practical experience during your studies!

As a student, you can expect exciting and varied tasks in the areas of business and IT consulting, software development and project management. Depending on your experience and background, you can, for example, independently take on sub-tasks as part of development projects or participate in the practical implementation of customer projects on site. Individual support and coaching from experienced colleagues are a matter of course for us. You have the following entry options during your studies:

  • Working student
  • Internship
  • final thesis

In many cases, the tasks you have worked on during your internship will result in a topic for your thesis. You will also have a personal contact person for technical questions and for contact with your university.

And afterwards? When you have finished your studies, there are good opportunities for you to join us in a junior position and continue your journey with msg!

FAQs - what students need to know

If you are studying an IT-related subject (computer science, business informatics, technical computer science, applied computer science, etc.), mathematics, physics or business administration, you will find a wide range of opportunities to gain practical experience at msg.

There is no requirement as to how long your internship should last. From our point of view, a length of two to six months is ideal.

You can support us as a working student (m/f/d) for a maximum of two years. Working students often join us in a permanent position after graduation.

Our application process consists of at least two stages:

  • In the first step, we often conduct a telephone interview to get to know each other.
  • If the first impression is positive for both sides, a personal interview follows. This allows us to get to know each other better and talk in detail about the position to be filled.
