Nowadays, the requirements of specialist departments are to be met without new software, without special infrastructure and without additional experts. It is increasingly a matter of addressing business problems and solving them efficiently. Even on a small scale and without technical expertise. This is where SIMA Cloud comes into play. SIMA Cloud is a runtime environment for input management issues. It enables the provision of classification and specialist data extraction of even the smallest document volumes. This is done on the basis of a very attractive Software-as-a-service offering from the public cloud – efficient and cost-effective.

Our proven, AI-based processes classify incoming documents page-by-page. In the next step, they read business data, prepare it and make it available in a structured manner. Data points such as invoices, certificates, forms, identification documents, vehicle registration documents, etc. are thereby made available in a low-threshold and cost-effective manner – without the need to replace existing input management solutions. 

Our SIMA solution portfolio helps large reinsurance companies to classify settlements from cedents and brokers and to automatically transfer business data to IT systems. In the banking sector, we have developed flexible modules for processing proof of income, address changes and supplier invoices and provide them as Software as a service solutions from the public cloud. For insurance companies and asset managers, we process complex incoming mail, distinguish between hundreds of document classes and thus enable the automatic submission of documents to the responsible clerk and/or direct storage in document management systems. No typing. No manual tasks. No manual intervention.  

We have been able to generalize our experience from “paper-intensive” industries very successfully and apply it to other industries and use cases. For example, we have automated order receipt for a logistics company – orders are analyzed, classified, the relevant business data is determined and transferred to the specialist systems. We support a large automobile manufacturer when processing part certificates for vehicle export, which are checked for validity and relevance. And for a platform for trading CO2 certificates, we classify and read data from vehicle registration documents. Fully automatic.
