IT consolidation

Foundation for a sustainable and innovative administration

The aim of IT consolidation is to modernise public administration and make it fit for the future by standardising and bundling IT applications. However, its importance extends far beyond this project: as digitalisation progresses and demands on IT infrastructures increase, consolidation remains a key success factor. It creates the basis for an administration that can utilise technological innovations quickly and efficiently.

msg offers public institutions customised solutions for successful IT consolidation - from strategic consulting to implementation and operation. With many years of experience and comprehensive industry expertise, we accompany you on the way to a high-performance and sustainable IT infrastructure.

Efficient IT consolidation for future-proof administration

msg supports IT consolidation projects from the initial idea through to successful implementation. With sound methodology, technical expertise and practical advice, we optimise IT infrastructures, manage migration processes and sustainably improve IT service management.

Public administration has a considerable need for modernisation, which remains even after extensive projects. In order to meet the requirements of an increasingly digital world, modern, standardised IT infrastructures are required that can be operated flexibly and securely. It is important to maintain control over your own IT, guarantee information security despite growing complexity and integrate new technological trends.

We contribute our expertise in project management methodology and our technical know-how to support our customers as a reliable partner in all phases of the project - from initialisation and preparation through to implementation. Our services include the planning, management and implementation of IT consolidation projects both in data centres and at IT service providers and specialist authorities. We also offer technical advice on the design of complex IT landscapes, coordinate IT migration measures and check their implementation. We also provide support in the development of target images in IT service management, the definition of service level agreements (SLAs) and the optimisation of ITIL processes in order to increase the quality and efficiency of IT infrastructures.
