A remarkable rise: msg has climbed to fourth place in the current Lünendonk ranking of "Leading IT Consulting and System Integration Companies in Germany" for the first time — an improvement of one place compared to the previous year. The ranking lists the 25 largest international and German providers of IT consulting services according to their annual sales figures. It thus provides an overview of the major players in the German market for IT consulting and system integration.
Despite the difficult economic situation, the study “Der Markt für IT-Dienstleistungen in Deutschland (The market for IT services in Germany (only available in German)), which is linked to the Lünendonk ranking, shows that IT service providers have increased their domestic sales by an average of 9.7 percent in 2023. The demand for cloud transformation, IT modernization and the development of digital business models and efficiency improvements is particularly strong. According to the study, the shortage of IT experts and the pressure to digitalize in particular are contributing to an increase in IT budgets being allocated to IT service providers.
