Catena-X has laid the foundations for the automotive industry's first open and collaborative data room. Within this data space, added value can be created for all participants on the basis of cross-company value chains:
Starting with the optimization of established business processes such as business partner data management or the traceability of parts through to the support of new regulatory requirements such as the Product Carbon Footprint or the Supply Chain Act. As an active member of Catena-X, we support the further development of content and help to establish the solutions created on the market. As a consulting company, we support our customers in becoming part of this network, implementing relevant use cases and benefiting from the advantages.
Qualification as a seal of quality
Qualification is based on an evaluation of the respective candidates. The evaluation ensures that the consulting companies have the necessary expertise and understanding of Catena-X. A functioning network of consultants is one of the foundations for the successful development and scaling of Catena-X. For this reason, the first successfully qualified companies were also confirmed directly by the Catena-X Board of Directors.
Consulting team with practical experience
msg has been supporting Catena-X for several years. During this time, customers from all levels of the automotive value chain, from OEMs to SMEs, have been advised on the introduction and first steps with Catena-X. Starting with onboarding, through the creation of digital twins, to integration into the respective backend systems. Together with the German Aerospace Center DLR, msg supervised the integration of Catena-X lead users, and the content design of various use cases was driven forward with OEMs. msg also supports the association as an active member of various committees and expert groups that shape the further development of Catena-X.
Integration in ecosystems necessary to maintain competitiveness
From msg's perspective, participation in digital ecosystems is becoming a prerequisite for maintaining competitiveness. “The necessary flexibility and dynamism that must be mapped across company boundaries in business processes today can only be achieved through new forms of overarching collaboration. Ecosystems such as Catena-X provide the basis for this,” Ralf Neubauer, Project Manager for Data Ecosystems, describes the need for companies to face up to this challenge.
