Do you want to create accessible PDF documents or remove barriers in PDF documents? In this training course, you will learn how to design PDF documents that meet all BITV/BFSG standards and are optimally digitally accessible.
We will start by showing you the technical and normative basics. You will then edit PDF documents interactively with “Adobe Acrobat Pro DC”. You will learn what the most important barriers are and how to remove them or prevent them from arising in the first place.
Goal:
With this training you will be fit for the project use for the BITV/BFSG-compliant creation and optimization of PDF documents.
Contents:
- Test-relevant standards: BITV, EN 301 549, ISO 32000-1, ISO 14289-1, Matterhorn protocol, WCAG/WCAG2ICT
- Working with “Adobe Acrobat Pro DC”
- Accessible PDF tagging: Do`s and Don`ts
- Possibilities and limitations of validation with “PAC 2021”
Prerequisites:
- General basics in software testing recommended.
- Pre-installation of “Adobe Acrobat Pro” (free trial license) and “PDF Accessibility Checker (PAC) 2024.
